Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 2026-05-25

We are committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we have built, what we know we still need to do, and how to contact us if you encounter a barrier.

Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how we treat patients and families with dignity. We design this website to be navigable by keyboard, readable by screen readers, and visible to people with low vision.

Conformance status

WCAG 2.1 AA — partially conformant

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We currently consider this website to be partially conformant, meaning that some content does not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.

Accessibility features in place

This site implements:

  • A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable by Tab and operable by Enter or Space.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Form labels associated with every input; errors announced to screen readers.
  • Bilingual content (English and Korean) with a clearly labeled language toggle.
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA: at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on interactive elements.
  • Semantic HTML — proper headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and labels.

Known limitations

We are aware of these issues and are working to address them:

  • Some illustrative imagery does not yet have detailed text descriptions; we are reviewing each in turn.
  • We have not yet completed a third-party accessibility audit. We plan to commission one before our next major redesign.

How to report an accessibility issue
